Maria Blaze Candidate's Statement: Serving as the Student Rights Executive Agent, I've advocated for 9,000+ students - I've seen firsthand why board decisions must start with students, not end with them. That's why I'm committed to: First, expanding funding ($$$) and networking opportunities around paid internships for students of all majors. Second, increasing free food access at the Owl's Nest and building community spaces. Third, improving bus lines between Foothill and De Anza so transportation isn't a barrier to education.
