Sami Parikh Candidate's Statement: Hello everyone, my name is Sami Parikh, and I am running to be your VP of Activities. Currently, I am a first-year psychology major, and I have been in ASFC for 3 quarters. Within ASFC, I am the ICC Events Coordinator, where I help clubs with their events and activities. I work with them, plan, come up with ideas, run logistics, and attend their events. Planning events and being involved with ICC has led me to want to be more involved with campus activities, which is why I am now running, and I hope you will consider voting for me!

Ridhi Thapar Candidate's Statement: Great events don't just happen - they are planned by people who care, INCLUDING ME! From planning annual functions in high school to running my own small business, I have loved bringing people together while being behind the scenes. Understanding that events should be exciting, inclusive, productive and safe, I want to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to turn strangers into friends(only if you want to) so your college experience is more than just classes. ASFC has been such an important part of my time here at Foothill, and I'm excited to continue my efforts working within the Activities Council to expand its impact across campus. If elected, I'll work to ensure all students feel heard and represented. My top priority is creating a vibrant, inclusive environment where students want to stay, connect, and enjoy everything Foothill has to offer, not just attend their classes and leave.
