3. Kyoto Bound!

On behalf of Global Experiential Learning, an exciting announcement: we have selected Kyoto, Japan as the destination for our 8-week study abroad program in Spring 2025. The program will be led by Professors Laurence Lew (Business & Computer Science) and Eric Reed (Computer Science & Math). The program theme is Data Analytics for Social Good. You can find more information about the program on our website.

We are actively recruiting students now and would greatly appreciate you sharing this opportunity with faculty and staff in your areas.

4. Get Your Regalia

The faculty sign-up for Commencement is live. As stated in a previous 12345, it is my hope that the new graduation time–10 am on June 28th–will entice more faculty attendance. It is my goal to have at least 80 faculty in attendance. I’ll continue to chart progress toward that goal in future communications!

5. Next Mission Informed Planning Council (MIPC) - June 7th

We will not be holding a regular meeting of the Mission Informed Planning Council this Friday. The next meeting is June 7th. MIPC invites mission-focused agenda items from the entire campus community. If you would like to propose an agenda item, visit the MIPC website.

Yours in Service,
Kristina
