Art History

About the Program

Our art history courses prepare students for upper division study and provide fundamental training in world art studies. The study of art history provides you with an awareness of art, economic, political, religious, and social history, and the ability to think critically about art and art history.

All our courses are transferable to UC and CSU campuses and several satisfy multicultural studies requirements.
