Educational Background:
B.S. in Physics -- UC Davis
M.S. in Physics -- UC San Diego
Experience:
I have been teaching Physics at Foothill College since Fall 2003. I also taught Physics and Astronomy at Hartnell College in Salinas. Prior to that I worked for ten years as a Process Engineer and Manager in the semiconductor industry. Process Engineers optimize chemical reactions that are used in manufacturing computer chips. One of the things I enjoyed about Process Engineering is that it is very inter-disiplinary, involving physics, chemistry, and materials science.
Interests:
My interests include cooking, beermaking, woodworking, home improvement projects, and watching my sons play roller hockey.
