Full series details available on the CUE website.

Webinar VI: How to Express Care with a Focus on Racial Equity

Thursday, 5.28.2020, 12:00 - 1:30 PM

This session is informed by common assumptions that racially minoritized students are deficient. Often times instructor’s and administrators’ responses imply that “racial equity” means to provide interventions that “fix students”.

This session will critically address how to provide authentic care to students with a focus on racial equity.

3CSN Wayfinding Series

Daily 1-hour webinars

From our colleagues at 3CSN (the CCC Success Network): As a way to leverage community in this unprecedented pivot to virtual learning, we have launched our 3CSN Wayfinding Online Zoom Series.

This series was created by practitioners for practitioners (and students, too) and continues to grow from the needs that are identified in community with colleagues across the state. We know that many of you are receiving training on Zoom and Canvas; however, in these sessions we will explore the purpose behind these teaching and learning tools, particularly as some of you move instruction and/or counseling and other student services online for the first time.

Tuesday, June 2, 8:00 am Pacific / 11:00 am Eastern

NetTutor Training

NetTutor Jam Sessions [30 minutes]

Campus tutors are invited to interact directly with their NetTutor peers--bring their questions and curiosity to this unscripted session. For example:

  • I'm used to tutoring in person. When we're online, how will I know when the student I'm helping is confused?
  • When I'm in the tutoring lab, students can see we're busy. How do I tell a student I've been helping online for a while that I need to help the next student in line?

Wednesday, May 27, 11:00 am Pacific / 2:00 pm Eastern
