Kim Silveira Wolterbeek has been teaching literature and writing at Foothill College since 1988. She is a three-time recipient of the NISOD (National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development) Excellence Award. Her fiction has appeared in numerous periodicals, been anthologized in A Line of Cutting Women and read on National Public Radio's "The Sound of Writing." She has twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is the author of The Glass Museum, a collection of short stories published by Bellowing Ark Press.
