What do you enjoy most about student life at Foothill?
I am honored to have served on the presidential search committee looking for the next president of Foothill College. Yes, students were part of this committee as well! This wasn’t only an opportunity to give back to Foothill for everything it has given me, but also to get a once in a lifetime experience in important decision-making. I am also the Jewish Heritage Month co-chair, which allows me to spread my heritage as a Jew.
How has the experience of studying at Foothill College positioned you for future success?
Many teachers, with their incredible backgrounds in the industry, have been my guides and mentors in my discipline. The fact that classes are smaller than in a four-year university, with knowledgeable and award-winning teachers, makes learning a great experience and more long-lasting.
What do you plan to do after Foothill College?
Thanks to the toolset and knowledge I’ve learned at Foothill, my dreams are closer to reality every quarter. Foothill is undoubtedly the best community college for students seeking success! By just telling people that I study at Foothill, I’ve already gotten an internship at Intel for the upcoming summer. The reputation and prestige of Foothill precede it. Upon graduation, I would like to transfer to UC Berkeley or Stanford, get a master’s in electronics design and build my own startup company.
What has been your favorite American experience?
America is hard to define, because it is a blend of cultures and races from all around the world, especially here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Being here is like being everywhere in the world at once. My best American experience is the chance to interact with and learn from all the cultures that surround me.
