Archive Story

Student and parents can get one on one assistance in completing their 2018-2019 or 2019-2020 (FAFSA) Free Application for Federal Student Aid or (CADAA) California Dream Act Application by members of the Financial Aid Office.

What to Bring:

Before you begin your FAFSA application both the student and the parent must create their (FSA ID) Federal Student Aid ID. This ID will be used to log into and electronically sign your application. To create your FSA ID you must have a valid social security number. Students and parents will need to go to fsaid.ed.gov and follow the instructions provided. As a best practice make sure that both you and your parent have your FSA ID ready before attending the workshop so that we may use the time to help you complete your application.

· If your parent does not have a social security number (SSN) they will not have the option to create an FSA ID. Instead of signing your application electronically at the end of the student's application they will need to print the parent signature page, provide a handwritten signature and mail it to the address listed on the form.
