Biography:

Kate Jordahl is a photographer and a professor of photography at Foothill College, California, USA. Her photographs are in numerous collections including the Bibliotheque Nationale de France, Paris; Santa Barbara Museum of Art; the University of Texas at Dallas, and the Yosemite Museum. She has led photography workshops in France, Italy, China, Japan, and the United States and has been an artist-in-residence in Yosemite National Park and in the Polar Arts Program in Greenland. She is also a board member of the Online Learning Consortium and dedicated to quality and equity in online education. 
Kate has been editor/designer for thirty-three books, including "Searching for True North," Modernbook Editions. Her most recent projects include "Workshop Stories" with Elizabeth Opalenik, "Bill Owens: The Legacy of Suburbia – Photographs 1964-2020" and "Culture in Transitions: Photographs by Oliver Klink," which has gotten nine publishing awards.
