Free Introductory & Advanced Cyber Camps

7th-12th Graders

Foothill College is hosting two weeks of NO-COST introductory and advanced cybersecurity training for middle and high school students — incoming 7th-12th graders for the 2019-20 school year.

Training Modules by CyperPatriot

  • Instruction is led by community college faculty and staff.
  • Training modules developed by the CyberPatriot program cover a variety of topics, including hacking prevention, system hardening, access control, and system protection.
  • Each five-day program ends with team competitions and awards.

The introductory session must be completed to attend the advanced training.

INTRODUCTORY SESSION: JULY 22–26

Topics: Digital Footprint, SysAdmin Superhero, Digital Forensics & Networking, and Wireshark

ADVANCED SESSION: JULY 29–AUG 2

Topics: Defensive Security, Cryptography, Splunking, and Web Application

Both run Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. at our  Sunnyvale Center at 1070 Innovation Way. 

No Cost to Attend

Lunch included. Space is limited and advance registration required.
