Summer 2016 Workshops Topics *NEW!

CSU Application Workshop
Attend this workshop to learn how to apply to a CSU.  This workshop will be a step-by-step guide to CSUMentor.edu. Students will have a chance to open their own application and start answering questions. To be prepared, students must bring unofficial transcripts and have a current Education Plan with classes determined for Fall 2016 – Spring 2017. (2 hours)

Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) Workshop
This is an interactive workshop for students interested in applying for a guaranteed admission to a UC campus for Fall 2017. Campuses include: Davis, Irving, Merced, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, and Riverside.  Students will leave the workshop knowing if they are eligible for a TAG with a selected UC campus, completing a portion of the TAG application, and receiving assistance from a counselor.  (2.5 hours) 

UC Application Workshop
This workshop is designed as an information session for students interested in applying to a UC.  Learn how important it is to get started with your application through the UC TAP (Transfer Admission Planner) as well as starting the Personal Insight Questions. (1 hour)

Education Plan
Make an appointment with a counselor if you need assistance with your education plan. The key to success in transfer is to check in with your counselor on a regular basis.

The UC Personal Statement prompts have changed effective Fall 2016. There is one required question you must answer. You will also need to answer 3 out of 7 additional questions. Each response is limited to a maximum of 350 words.
