Counseling & Career Testing

Counseling can help you at every step of the way in your career and transfer exploration and in the
decision-making process.

Counselors can help you answer questions such as:

  • How do I make decisions about my career or major selection?
  • How do I return to college after years of being out of school?
  • How do I completely change the direction of my career?
  • How can I balance my family, job and school responsibilities?

Counselors are available by appointment and through Quick Question drop-in sessions.

Visit the Counseling website for hours and to make an appointment.

Career testing or assessment is available through our Career Life Planning course CRLP 70-Self Assessment. You may also be able to do testing in CRLP 71- Exploring Career Fields. Assessments may include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator instrument, EUREKA Skills Sort, the Strong Interest Inventory, the Self Directed Search, and values instruments. See a counselor or Transfer staff member for further information.
