Meet Other New Students, Tour the Campus, Talk with Faculty & Staff
Meets first at Smithwick Theatre; workshops and presentations will follow

Meet other new students, as well as Foothill faculty and staff, and get answers to your questions by attending Foothill College New Student Orientation Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to the Making College Count and student success panel presentations, this event features campus programs and services information sessions, entertainment, prizes and complimentary lunch (vegetarian option available). At various sessions throughout the day, you'll hear brief inspirational messages from Foothill College President Judy C. Miner, Ph.D.; Associated Students of Foothill College President Joseline Diaz; and Foothill Music & Pop Culture Instructor Robert Hartwell, Ed.D. and Admission and parking (Lot 1 only) are free. You'll learn about campus life programs and student services, including financial aid options, the university transfer process, and student activities You'll also have the opportunity to get your OwlCard student ID, take a campus tour, practice accessing the comprehensive suite of student services available via MyPortal.fhda.edu, and purchase your textbooks. You'll also have the opportunity to win an iPad. You must be present to win; winner's photo identification will be verified.
