Whether youre a newlywed, ready to start a family or want a stimulating course that meets degree and transfer requirements, you can learn more about the social influences that affect American expressions of intimate lifestyles related to relationships, marriage and family systems by enrolling in the four-unit SOC 40: Aspects of Marriage & Family course.
By using methods of social research, you will examine theoretical and empirical studies conducted by family sociologists. The course meets the requirement for the Foothill associate degree as well as the IGETC and CSU general education breadth requirements.

Go Behind the Scenes of American Cinema
Discover the inner workings of Hollywoods cinema star and studio systems by enrolling in the four-unit Film/TV 3: American Cinema course. In addition to viewing and discussing the most significant films in the history of these movies, youll examine the historic, economic and cultural background that forms the American cinema. The class meets Thursdays, from 6 to 9:40 p.m.
