Diane Andrews' interest in diverse people and languages took her around the world as a flight attendant for Pan American World Airways before she landed at Foothill College as an ESL instructor in 1990. She has a BA in English with a minor in French from Albion College in her home state of Michigan and earned an MA in Linguistics/TESOL from San Jose State University. Diane has taught in business and industry, in the MA TESOL program at San Jose State University, and as a teacher trainer in the University of California, Santa Cruz Extension, TESOL Certificate Program.

In 2005 Diane and her mom started their own business sewing and selling totebags, some of which have found homes in countries around the world. Diane's website is www.toteyourstuff.us. Diane enjoys writing human interest articles for her community newspaper, the Santa Clara Weekly (www.santaclaraweekly.com).
