The Office Administration Program offered by the Business Technology Department provides students with the necessary skills to assume clerical through supervisory support roles in large and small professional offices. Heavy use of hands-on experience using state-of-the-art computer applications and programming make graduates of this program immediately ready for employment in the workplace environment.

In addition to an AS Degree in Business Technology, the BT Department offers certificates in the following areas.

  • Business Communication
  • Word Processing / Desktop Publishing
  • Database & SQL
  • Office Manager Computing

These skills are now in great demand in the Silicon Valley and across the country.

Degrees & Certificates (2007-08)

An Associate in Science Degree in Office Administration takes approximately two years and the certificate programs range between 6 and 15 months.
