High School/Travel: Selected as All-PAL Ocean Division second-team and honorable mention during her high school career for the Knights.  She was also a P/2B for the California Spin.

Ana Olmos 2 Ana Olmos OF So Mountain View High School
2009:  A returning captain, started 31 games (15 in the outfield, 11 at third base, and 5 at shortstop)…batted .253 with 16 runs scored, 10 extra base hits, 14 RBI, and a .424 slugging percentage…7th in the state in triples (5)…3rd on the team in stolen bases (5)…six multi-hit games including a 3-hit game vs. Chabot…three multi-RBI games including a 3-RBI game at Mendocino…had two stolen bases vs. Santa Rosa…selected to the Honorable Mention All-Coast Conference team.

2008:  An captain, started all 27 games (13 at pitcher and 14 at shortstop)…led the team in batting (.403), at-bats (72), hits (29), doubles (3), triples (2), RBI (9), slugging percentage (.500), on-base percentage (.410), total bases (36)…2nd on the team in runs scored (8)…had seven multi-hit games including two 3-hit games (at Mendocino and at Contra Costa)…had a six game hit-streak where she batted .571 (8 for 14)…had a 4-RBI game at Mendocino…awarded the team’s “MVP” and “Silver Slugger” awards…selected First Team All-Coast Conference.

Samantha Willis 3 Samantha Willis OF So  Westmont High School
2009:  Started 34 game in the outfield for the Owls…batted .292 with 31 hits…led the team in runs (25)…3rd on the team in RBI (16)…tied for team lead in stolen bases (11)…8 multi-hit games including two 3-hit games (at CCSF and at DeAnza)…4 multi-RBI games…2 stolen bases vs. CSM…led the team with 8 outfield assists…Selected First Team All-Coast Conference.

2008:  Batted .351 with 20 hits, 11 runs scored, and 4 RBI…2nd on the team in stolen bases (4)…had five multi-hit games including a 3 for 3 effort at CCSF…had a 2-RBI game vs. West Valley…Awarded Second Team All-Coast Conference.

Angie Larsen 4 Angie Larsen 2B Fr Timpanogos High School/Orem, UT
2009:  Started all 38 games at second base for the Owls ... led the team in at-bats (122)…second on the team in hits (32)…batted .262 with 14 RBI and 18 runs scored ... third on the team in doubles (4)…8 multi-hit games including two 3-hit games (at Mission and vs. Monterey)…four multi-RBI games including a 3-RBI game at Mission…had a 17 game errorless streak (58 chances)…awarded Second Team All-Coast Conference.

High School/Travel:  Batted .362 for the T-Wolves which earned her second team all-state honors.  Her high school career included a runner-up in the Utah State Championships, 2 Regional Championships, and 4 League Championships.

Jessica Peralez 5 Jessica Peralez C Fr Independence High School
2009:  Started 22 games (16 at catcher and 6 at DP)…in 34 at-bats collected 4 hits, 10 runs, and 3 RBI…2nd on the team in walks (19)…batted .118 with an on base percentage of .491…scored 2 runs in a game twice (vs. Desert and at DeAnza)…had six multi-walk games…led the team in hit by pitch (6)…threw out 6 runners.

High School/Travel:  Batted .348 with 23 RBI last year for the 76er’s and also recorded a .456 on-base-percentage.  She is a two-time second-team all-BVAL Santa Teresa Division selection. 

Nadia Espinoza 7 Nadia Espinoza OF So Hillsdale High School
2009:  Appeared in ten games…in 14 at-bats batted .214 and had 2 RBI…hit a walk-off single to beat DeAnza on the Owl’s sophomore day.

2008:  In 35 at-bats batted .229 with 8 hits, 4 runs scored, and 2 RBI…had a 3-run game at Contra Costa…had a 2-hit game at DeAnza.

Kylie Crandall 8 Kylie Crandall P Fr Branham High School
2009:  Appeared in 29 games making a team high 26 starts…complied a 9-17 record…in 165 innings struck out 81…stuck out a season high 11 vs. CCSF…tossed a no-hit shutout vs. CCSF…had a 5 game win streak to end the season…finished in the top 3 in the conference in 5 major pitching categories…had 13 hits, 7 runs, and 5 RBI…hit .217 with a double and a triple…had two 2-hit games (vs. Monterey and at Gavilan)…had two 2-RBI games (at CCSF and vs. CCSF)…selected Second Team All-Coast Conference.

High School/Travel:  Was a two-time all BVAL Santa Teresa Team selection and team MVP for the Bruins.  She was also a member of the San Jose Lady Sharks.

Raven Mullins 9 Raven Mullins 3B Fr  Westmont High School
2009:  Started 23 of 24 games at third base ... led the Owls in batting average (.419), RBI (21), and slugging percentage (.649)…tied for third on the team in hits (31)…second on the team in doubles (8)…led the team in multi-hit games with 10 including two 3-hit games (at Taft and vs. Cabrillo)…had four multi-RBI games including a 4-RBI game vs. Desert and a 3-RBI game vs. CSM.

High School/Travel:  Posted a .347 batting average as a freshman for the Warriors.  She helped lead her team to a 2nd place BVAL Mount Hamilton finish with an 18-8 overall record while also reaching the CCS quarterfinals.  After her freshman year, Mullins shifted her focus to the nationally ranked West Bay Nuggets A-ball travel team where she played in numerous major college Showcase Tournaments.

Melissa Castle 10 Melissa Castle OF So Valley Christian High School
2009:  Appeared in 22 games…batted .143 on 3 hits, and had 1 run scored and 1 RBI…had a 2-hit game vs. Santa Rosa…posted a .280 on-base percentage…had two outfield assists.

2008:  Started 25 games for the Owls…batted .125 on 6 hits, 1 run scored, and had 1 RBI…had a 2-hit game vs. Mission…had 5 outfield assists…had a .958 fielding percentage…awarded the team’s “Gold Glove” award for outstanding defense.

Paige Madsen 13 Paige Madsen 2B So Prospect High School
2009:  In 85 at-bats accumulated a .176 average, scored 12 runs, 9 RBI, and led the team in stolen bases (11)…2nd on the team in sacrifices (5)…had two 2-hit games (vs. Mission and vs. Yuba)…had two 3-RBI games (vs. Desert and vs. Mission)…had 3 multi-stolen base games.

2008:  Batted .193 with 4 runs scored and 1 RBI…had two 2-hit games (vs. San Mateo and at Contra Costa).

Tawni Barttels 15 Tawni Barttels P Fr Atwater High School/Atwater, CA
2009:  Started 32 games (10 as a pitcher and 22 at first base)…compiled a 3-7 record…in 58 innings struck out 20…struck out a season high 5 vs. Cabrillo…had 6 complete games…scored 6 runs, collected 13 hits, and had 10 RBI while hitting .155 in 84 at-bats…finished tied for second on the team in triples (3)…led the team in sacs (6)…led the team in putouts (144), chances (170), and fielding percentage (.994)...had 2 multi-hit games (at DeAnza and vs. Mission)…had a 2-RBI game vs. Monterey…hit a walk-off double to beat Santa Rosa 2-1.

High School/Travel:  Batted .419 and had a 2.30 ERA for the Falcons.  She led her team to a VOL League Championship her freshman and sophomore seasons.  She was the recipient of the Coach’s Award both her freshman and junior seasons as well as Outstanding Pitcher her sophomore season.  Barttels was also a starting P/1B for the 18U Lightning Elite.

Jenae Hatton 16 Jenae Hatton OF So Leland High School
2009:  Appeared in 23 games…in 25 at-bats batted .120 on 3 hits, scored 3 runs, and had 1 RBI…had a .371 on base percentage…had an outfield assist vs. Ohlone…had two multi-walk games.

2008:  redshirt

2007:  Started all 27 games in the outfield.

Caitlin Alesch 21 Caitlin Alesch C Fr Leland High School
2009:  An Owl’s captain, started in 25 of 30 games played….had 12 hits, 13 runs, and 4 RBI…hit .207 with a double… had a 3-hit/3-RBI game vs. Desert…had a 2-hit game at Mendocino.

High School/Travel:  Received multiple Coach’s Awards and received a Most Inspirational Player Award while playing for the Chargers.  She was also selected a Top Pick catcher while playing for the San Jose Strikkers.

Caitlin Agosti 22 Caitlin Agosti SS Fr Notre Dame Belmont High School
2009: Started all 36 games ... 2nd on the team in batting average (.396), 2nd on the team in slugging percentage (.604), 2nd on the team in runs batted in (19), led the team in total bases (55) and walks (23), 2nd on the team in runs (23), led the team in hits (36) and doubles (10) ... had a 9-game hit streak in March…during the streak batted .667 (16 for 24)…had a 6-game hit streak in April…during the streak batted .412 (7 for 17)…had 9 multi-hit games including two 3-hit games (at DeAnza and vs. Monterey) ...... had 5 multi-RBI games including two 3-RBI games (at DeAnza and vs. San Mateo) ... led team in fielding assists (93)…selected First Team All-Coast Conference.

High School/Travel:  Led the Tigers to a 22-8 record this past spring and the WCAL co-championship while also finishing 3rd in CCS.  She was voted most improved player and was the recipient of the coach’s award.  In her career, Agosti led the Tigers to a CCS championship in 2007 and an overall record of 67-22-1.  Also a member of the San Jose Lady Sharks Gold, Agosti batted .378 with a .416 slugging percentage while playing SS, C, and 3B.

Danielle Gonzalez 24 Danielle Gonzalez 1B Fr  Los Banos High School/Los Banos, CA
2009:  Started 28 games of her 29 played (17 at first base and 11 at DP)…had 13 hits while driving in 4 runs…had a multi-hit game at Mendocino…had a 3-RBI game at Mission…141 putouts and 142 chances ranked second on the team…fielding percentage of .992 ranked second on the team.

High School/Travel:  Batted .217 with 8 RBI and a .875 fielding percentage for the Tigers.  She led her team in sacrifices with 5.  Gonzalez helped her team to back to back second and third place finishes in the CCC while compiling a 26-23 overall record.
