Foothill College has open admission for all high school graduates and non-graduates 18 years of age or older.
High school students may attend Foothill with written parental and school permission. Access additional information about high school admission including the high school permission form.
International students who hold F1 visas may attend Foothill College and should access application information and additional resources at the International Students Website.
Incoming Transfer Students: Sealed official transcripts from outside educational institutions are not automatically evaluated when received by Foothill College. You will need to submit a request for transcript evaluation form AFTER you have completed 12 units of coursework at Foothill College. If you have not yet completed 12 units of coursework at Foothill College, you will need to review prerequisite clearance instructions and submit a request.
To register for classes, you must use MyPortal, our registration portal. For a fast overview of the registration process, download the Student Registration Guide (PDF). To access the portal, you will need your Campuswide ID/SID (CWID/SID). You'll use a temporary password to log in the first time.
Need to have your official, unopened transcript sent to Foothill College Admissions from another educational institution? Mail your transcript to: Foothill College Admissions, 12345 El Monte Rd, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022 OR have your official e-transcript emailed to: email@example.com
